Abstract
Indocyanine green is clinically applied to dye internal limiting membrane peeling in macula hole and preretinal membrane surgeries, which solve the difficulty in peeling preretinal membrane from it at most degree. However, recently more and more attention is focused on the toxicity of indocyanine green to retina. This article reviews related reports about idocyanine green in recent years.
