Abstract
Objective:To discuss the issues of patients used mechanical ventilation after major surgery in general surgical intensive care unit(ICU).Methods:The data of 43 patients with mechanical ventilation after major surgery were retrospectively analyzed. The indices such as heart and lung function and bloodgas analysis were included in the study. Results:The PaCO2,heart rate and breath rate after mechanical ventilation were significantly higher than that before mechanical ventilation(P0.05).Conclusion:The application of mechanical ventilation on post-operative patients with respiratory dysfunction can improve the survival rate of patients and shorten the ICU duration of hospitalization.
