Abstract
The development of the world democracy shows that commodity economy gestates modern democracy .Socialist market economy has developed productivity and awaked the consciousness of citizenship ,which really promotes and improves civic political participation .However, shortcomings in market economy also has a passive effect on political participation .We should build up suitable systems of political participation for market economy.
