The Classical Pursuit in New Chinese Poetry——A Case Study of Yu Guang-zhong and Luo Fu's Poetic Art

The vague concept onclassic in the study of new Chinese poetry has resulted in a poor criticism of its historical relation and a superficial analysis of theclassicalization of new Chinese poetry.Yu Guangzhong and Luo Fu both have accepted the classical poetic art and its pursuits,which has shed much light on the understanding of the historical connection of new Chinese poetry.Yu Guangzhong'sclassicalization emphasizes the moods and tries to control the forms of the poems.Because Yu does not focus on the use of poetic words,his poems are clear and prosic without rich implicationshes.Though Luo Fu has not fulfiled his entire dream in poetic creation,he focuses on the use of poetic words and his long poem Floating Wood has his own poetic rythm,which in its semantic structure of happy and miserrable irony has obtained the necessary tension of modern poetics.
