Estimation of direction of source arrival based upon MUSIC and Capon

Abstract

The direction of source arrival must be estimated before knowing the source number in order to correctly receive source signals in the array.In the paper,the theory of MUSIC and Capon algorithm for direction of arrival and the implementation of two algorithms are analyzed.Finally,the performances of two algorithms are compared under matlab simulation.
