Abstract
This paper reviewed the interspecific hybridization of Heliothinae. It deals with the species with interspecific matings of Heliothinae, the sterility in hybrids from interspecific crosses between Heliothis virescens and Heliothis subflexa, the possible mechanism of sterility, the relationship of hybrids with other insects and the potential genetic control.
