Abstract
At present,for exploring the human activities on the influence of the global carbon cycle,the economic activities and carbon emissions of energy consumption become a hot issue in the domestic and foreign academic circles.By elaborating the concept of carbon footprint and building the model of carbon footprint,we calculated and analyzed Guangxi's carbon footprint of energy consumption from 2000 to 2009.At the same time,based on analyzing the impact factors of carbon footprint of energy consumption,some proposals of development of low-carbon economy such as optimizing energy structure,guiding rational energy consumption structure,adjusting economic structure appropriately and developing the service industry actively were proposed in Guangxi.
