Abstract

The education for individuals with disabilities in America has developed extremely rapidly from 1970s. The federal government actively promotes the reform of education for individuals with disabilities through legislation and funding. The access to school of children with disabilities has been solved and to improve the quality of education to meet the educational needs of all students with disabilities are the new priority today. Education for individuals with disabilities are still facing serious challenges,and how to solve the problems have long plagued the American educational development for individuals with disabilities depends on the tireless efforts of the government and the public.
