Variant forms of Chinese characters is a special phenomenon in the use of ancient Chinese.These variant characters result from complicated factors including not only the word-formation of themselves but also some extra-factors.Since words have the culturally inherirting functions,their variant forms also carry this distinctive point.This diddertation mainly discovers the effect of variant characters in carrying on culture from the reasons why they come from.
