Abstract
Objective To study the treatment of posterior condylar tibial plateau fractures. Methods 12 patients with posterior condylar tibial plateau fractures were treated through the posterolateral or/and posteromedial incision. Results All patients were followed up for 10 to 34 months(with an average of 20.8±2).The fractures were all healed at 5 to 8 months(with an average of 6.4±0.9),and no height loss, genu valgum or varum was found. The joint function of knee was evaluated according to Hohl score, and 9 cases had excellent and 3 cases had good results. Conclusions Through the posterolateral or/and posteromedial approach, the fractures can be reduced with direct visualization and direct fracture manipulation. It is a suitable incision for the posterior condylar tibial plateau fractures.
