Abstract

Objective To assess the clinical effect of interventional treatment in diabetic foot.Methods Ten patients with diabetic foot were involved in superficial femoral,tibial and titular arteries.Twenty-four vessels with irregularstenosis and obstruction were treated by intravascular angioplasty through balloon dilation,and treated by intravascular stenting.Results The technical successful rate was 100% and there was no complication.The symptoms were relieved in all patients after treatment,including promotion of lower extremity arterial blood perfusion,reducing range of ampulation and wound healing after amputation.Conclusion Intravascular interventional treatment is safe and effective in diabetic foot.
