Abstract
Geohelminthes ova was examined by Kato-Katz thick smear method and oxyurid ova was examined by cellophane anal swab in Pingan County.2 species of intestinal helminth eggs were detected.200 of 2 490 persons were infected Ascaris lumbricoides with infection rate 8.03%.12 of 310 children under 12 years of age were infected Enterobius vermicularis with infection rate 3.87%.Compared with investigated results in 1989 on distribution of human parasites, the infection rate of A.lumbricoides decreased with reduction rate 30.47%,and only 10.83% for E.vermicularis in children under 12 years of age.The results showed that geohelminthes infection are still serious.Prevention and control should be strengthened in(infant) school.
