Abstract
Ethernet Passive Optical Network is a point-to-multipoint optical access network. Due to its low cost,simple network structure and high bandwidth,it is generally regarded as the best choice for next generation of broadband access network technology. Based on studying the principle of EPON,this paper analyzes the hidden safety trouble,and proposes an idea for design of the integrated EPON equipment.
