Discussion of "Fangzhong Music" and "Fangzhong Songs" in Han Dynasty

Deriving from Fangzhong Music and Fangzhong Songs of the Zhou and Qin Dynasties,Fangzhong Music and Fangzhong Songs in Han Dynasty,as a kind of the temple odes,are used to offer sacrifices and enjoy in the feast.At the beginning of Han Dynasty,the author of Fangzhong Music and Fangzhong Songs is Tangshan Lady,who composes them in or before the sixth year of Gaozu emperor.Then and later,many problems have occurred about the names of them,because of the alteration of the composers.As a kind of independent musical sort,they have their own functions and characteristics.There are differentiations and connections between them and the other temple odes of Han Dynasty.Though Fangzhong Music and Fangzhong Songs inherit the aspect of moralization,they more embody the essence of music of ancestral temple.
