Abstract
Aiming at discrete search mode of submarine accompanying surface formation, relative courses of enemy submarine is analyzed to bring forward the valid search width during high-speed phase. The mathematical models about search efficiency is established. At the same time, the influence of the changes of formation velocity and submarine high speed on the search efficiency is experimently simulated and analyzed. The results lay the foundation in theory for improvement of submarine's search efficiency.
