Abstract
As a modeling tool in describing the concept model of information systems in at the semantic and knowledge level, ontology is widely used in many areas of computer science in recent years. Among which the ontology-based knowledge construction is a complex project, according to the current research situation, and the key is to resolve the problems of how to build a knowledge model. This paper takes advantage of some theories related to the ontology knowledge model.Based on the analysis of ontology, we discuss the application and the method of ontology in knowledge-based systems. Finally we propose an ontology-based knowledge model, and explain the method of ontology-based knowledge base construction.
