Abstract
There are widespread controversies on how relationship lending and bank competition affects credit financing for SMEs.This paper systematically reviews related literatures,analyzes this impact from the view of credit accessibility,cost and risk for SMEs.In addition,we study the mutual influence between relationship lending and bank competition.The result shows that relationship lending and bank competition could affect the credit financing for SMEs,but there are significant differences in different countries on the specific impact.We should combine the macroeconomic and credit market situation on the credit financing of SMEs.This paper aims to provide a reference for future research and practice on relieving the financing difficulties for SMEs.
