Abstract

We often encounter some unclear sentences or expressions which have two of more meanings when using English to communicate.This kind of sentences or expressions is called ambiguh Ambiguity usually makes exact expression of language and information transmit difficult. Iloweven Ambiguity is not always a negative language phenomenon.lt can express many kinds of feeeings and therefore get special rhetoric effect.This is the positive function of ambiguity.
