Abstract

Objective:To discuss the effect of Amlodipine and Benazepril treating the isolated systolic hypertension in the elderly.Method:The patients were gave 5mg Amlodipine and 10mg Benazepril for 3 months.If the blood pressure did not reach the standard,the dosage of Amlodipine were up to 10mg.Results:After 3 months after treatment,systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly lower than before treatment,the total efficiency of 93.02%.Conclusion:To combine Amlodipine with Benazepri may be an ideal method for the isolated systolic hypertension in the elderly.
