Abstract
Using the indices of diversity,richness and evenness,the species diversity of shrub and herb layers under forest communities in Liangshui Nature Reserve was studied in this paper.The results showed that using the indices of diversity and evenness of the vegetation under forest communities,the total diversity order was Primary Korean pine forestlarch plantationAcer-Korean pine forestbroadleaf-Korean pine forestspruce-fir-Korean pine forestKorean pine plantationTilia amurensis-Korean pine forestBirch forest.The total richness index of each community was mainly influenced by the richness of the herb layers.The diversity indices of the shrub layers of spruce-fir-Korean pine forest and Korean pine plantation were higher than that of the herb layers.In the other six communities,the indices of diversity and richness of the shrub layers were lower than those of the herb layers.The difference of the evenness index between the shrub and herb in every community was very small.Through analyzing the main composition of the community,the accumulative contribution rate of the first main composition(species richness) and the second composition(species diversity) reached 98.945%,and the two indices basically reflected the information of the other six original variables.
