Abstract

Map layer is a basic unit of GIS data organizing and management. Layer management of spatial data is very important. Map layer contributes to data editing and analysing. Based on GIS map layer,it is more convenient, accurate, and prompt to edit map, synthesize map and make special map. By using different GIS map layer, spatial analysis as well as data search, overlapping analysis, spatial link and so on can be finished.
