Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of MR perfusion imaging in atypical hepatic Abscess .Methods MRI data of 8 cases with atypical hepatic Abscess proved by pathology and follow-up after clinical therapy were retrospectively analyzed . Results The atypical hepatic Abscess appeared almostly as the uneven slightly signal intensity on T1WI and the uneven slightly high signal intensity on T2WI , the time signal curve appeared as the type of quickly rise or slowly rise . Conclusion Most of the atypical hepatic Abscess is early hepatic Abscess,MRI showed nonspecific features,in combination with MR perfusion weighted imaging can improve the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the atypical hepatic Abscess .
