Distributed Control System of Cement Plant Based on Profibus-DP

Abstract

The definition of field bus and the features of Profibus are introduced.The difference and relationship between distributed control system and fieldbus control system are given.After analyzing the process and features of the cement plant and the computer control and monitor system the design and application of distributed control system based on Prefibus field bus for a large cement plant are discribed.The quality of cementis is improved after putting the system into practice.
