Abstract

Engineering talent training has been a major topic in China's higher education research.This paper describes the role and the current situation of higher education institutions in engineering talent training,and the need of the country and society for engineering talent.Then the paper analyzes problems with the level and talent structure of engineering talent training and causes for the problems,and provides suggestions for improvement.
