Abstract

This paper presents the concept of actual cutting edge for torus. It is a complicate curve other than flat cutter. The author also points that the actual cutting edge is the characteristic curve of envelope, and some characters are summarized. Relationship is found between torus and envelope. The actual cutting edge could be described by a precious equation with linar feed and some description and application are also introduced.
