Abstract

Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect of using phacoemulsification to cure angle closure glaucoma. Method The follow-up visit by phacoemulsification treating angle closure glaucoma patients, patients with intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth and visual acuity were observed and compared before and after operation. Result After 6 ~ 12 months of follow-up, average(10.5±1.0) months; patients vision improved, the decrease of intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth increases, in addition, angle opening distance, angle adhesion and the scope of operation before the comparison, the difference was significant(P 0.05). Conclusion The closure angle glaucoma with phacoemulsification for treatment, can effectively improve the visual acuity, increase postoperative anterior chamber depth and angle opening distance, to reopen the adhesion angle.
