Abstract
The optimal reorder time and order quantity was studied for the spare parts with high cost and long storage time.Analyzed the historical life-cycle data of parts and fitted the function of it,and the expected loss because of out of stock can be calculated. An inventory control model was got by weighing the average loss and storage cost of which the total cost is minimum. Finally,a case was presented to show the effectiveness of this model, the results indicated that the case's storage time and inventory cost decreased 76.29% if the model was used.
