Computer simulation of jamming PD radar

Abstract

Pulse Doppler radar has strong anti-jamming ability by means of coherent technology such as pulse compression techniques and coherent integration technique,and anti-interference technology including coherent side-lobe cancellation and side-lobe blanking techniques.The paper firstly introduces the basic principles of two smart noise jamming methods based on the noise convolution jamming and interrupted-sampling repeater jamming(ISRJ).In order to verify the effectiveness of smart noise jamming,low pulse repetitive frequency PD radar is taken as the target of jamming in the jamming simulation test.To improve the jamming effects,an improved method is proposed and computer simulation is performed.The simulation results show that smart noise jamming can jam coherent radar well.
