Abstract
In this paper, the finite element method is used to research the heat capacity of the brake disc for high-speed train. The simulation results are compared to the results from the test by the full-size inertia brake dynamometer. The distribution of brake disc's temperature field is analyzed. It is proved that the finite element analysis is an efficient method to research the brake disc for the high-speed train.
