On Promotion of Cultural Quality Education in Universities

Cultural quality cultivation is a systematic project.Since the 1980s,universities in China have been promoting large-scale practical activities of cultural quality education,which have achieved great accomplishment in lifting the cultural quality of both students and teachers.However,some deep-seated problems have also been exposed:contradiction of administrative power and academic power;the intermingling and penetration of humanistic education and scientific education;the contradiction of teachers' cultural quality values and the course content.To learn about and solve these problems will certainly further push forward the development of cultural quality education in universities.
