Studies on Flora of Coastal Seed Plants in Fujian and Taiwan

Species composition,main ecological groups,geographical components and the similarity of coastal seed plant in Fujian and Taiwan have been studied. The results show that: ①there are 301 species representing 217 genera in 72 families of coastal plants in Fujian,while Taiwan has 335 species representing 238 genera in 90 families,Fujian and Taiwan share the same big families,and the families with only one or two species occupy the dominant position( they account for 63. 89% 、68. 89% of the total number of families separately); ②The main plant species composition is largely different in the four ecological groups between two areas; ③On the coast of fujian and Taiwan the families and genera appear obvious nature of tropical,subtropical and a certain component of temperate properties; ④The similarity coefficient of coastal seed plant in families,genera and species between Fujian and Taiwan is not high,less than 50%.
