Abstract

Based on the Chinese practice of nuclear facility decommissioning this paper describes: (1)the three decommissioning strategies:immediate dismantling;deferred dismantling and entombment; (2)selecting of decommissioning strategy;(3)decommissioning strategies used in some countries; (4)discussing some major problems related to decommissioning strategies of nuclear facilities.
