Abstract
Complex of samarium nitrate with alanine has been prepared. The molar dissolution enthalpy of Sm(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O(s) in water has been measured by isopribel calorimeter, and the standard molar formation enthalpy of Sm(Ala)43+(aq) has been calculated at 298.2K to beΔHf,θm,[ Sm(Ala)43+,aq,298.2K] = 2936.7 kJ·mol-.
