SPECIES OF THE GENUS PHOBETES FRSTER (HYMENOPTERA,ICHNEUMONIDAE, CTENOPELMATINAE) FROM CHINA WITH A KEYTO SPECIES KNOWN IN CHINA

Three species in the genus Phobetes Frster, 1869, collected from Jiangxi and Henan Provinces, China, belonging to subfamily Ctenopelmatinae of family Ichneumonidae, are reported in this paper, of which two are new to science. A key to the species of genus Phobetes known in China is provided. Type specimens are deposited in the General Station of Forest Pest Management, State Forestry Administration, China. Phobetes albiannularis sp. nov. (Figs 1-3) The new species is similar to Ph. sapporensis (Uchida, 1930), but can be distinguished from the latter by the following combination of characters: median portion of antenna with white ring; first and second terga entirely black, remainder brown to reddish brown; propodeum (Fig. 2) with strong median longitudinal carinae and areola. Holotye ♀, Jiulianshan (24.6°N, 114.5°E), Longnan, Jiangxi Province, 6 June 2011, leg. ZHANG Zu-Fu. Paratypes: 2♀♀, 4♂♂, same data except 6 to 20 June 2011. Etymology. The name of the new species is based on its antenna with white ring. Phobetes henanensis sp. nov. (Figs 4-6) The new species is similar to Ph. taihorinensis (Uchida, 1932), but can be distinguished from the latter by the following combination of characters: frons with fine punctures; hind wing vein 1/cu about 2-3 times as long as cu-a; hind coxae and femora black; hind tarsomeres brownish red; first tergum and median portion of second tergum black, remainder terga reddish brown. Holotype ♀, Baotianman Natural Reserve (33°N, 111.8°E; alt. 1 280 m), Neixiang, Henan Province, 20 July 2006, leg. SHEN Xiao-Cheng. Paratype 1♀, same data as holotype. Etymology. The name of the new species is based on type locality. Phobetes sapporensis (Uchida, 1930) New record to China Mesoleptus sapporensis Uchida, 1930.
