Abstract
The temperature variation characteristics in Southern Xinjiang Basin in recent 45 years were analyzed and the results showed that there was a warm abrupt change of the annual average temperature in 1989.From 1980s end, along with the temperature during the night began to increase singularly and the same the day also increased, and the both caused the temperature warmed totally an abrupt change in Southern Xinjiang Basin. The change of maximum temperature, minimum temperature and diurnal temperature range all had distinct season differences. In the four seasons, the abnormity by warm in autumn and winter contributed most to the warm abrupt change of annual average temperature. In the above temperature increasing processes, the minimum temperature increased most, and the maximum temperature increased less extremely than the minimum temperature,so the diurnal temperature range tends to decrease.
