Abstract

The optimal conditions for extracting procyanidins from natural products with subcritical R134a(1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) were obtained using a 10 mL high pressure extraction vessel.By means of orthogonal and single factor experimental methods, the influences of temperature, pressure and extraction time on the extraction ratio of procyanidins from hawthorn and ipuranol were investigated. The results showed that the optimum conditions were as follows: the extraction ratio of procyanidins from hawthorn was 2.50% for a pressure of 10 MPa,temperature of 50 ℃ and extraction time of 80 min,and the extraction ratio of procyanidins from ipuranol was 1.00% for a pressure of 12 MPa,temperature of 50 ℃ and extraction time of 80 min.
