Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of LDH detection in GSF in the identification of bacterial meningitis and viral meningitis. Methods LDH levels in serum and CSF of acterial meningitis(48cases)、viral meningitis(45cases) and control group(40cases) were measured by using enzyme rate method. Results LDH levels of the bacterial meningitis group were significantly higher than viral meningitis group and control group(P0.05);but there was no significant difference among viral meningitis group and control group(P0.05).There were no significant differences in serum LDH level among bacterial meningitis and viral meningitis(P0.05).Conclusion The CSF-LDH level can used as an distinguish-diagnosis between bacterial meningitis and viral meningitis,it has important guiding significance for the selection of antihypertensive drugs.
