Abstract
The Co(Ⅱ),Ni(Ⅱ),Zn(Ⅱ)and Cu(Ⅱ)complexes were synthesized by reacting 2,6-bis(4R-hydroxymethyl-oxazolyl)pyridine(Pybox-hm)with the corresponding metal salts in anhydrous ethanol at room temperature.They were characterized for the first time by FT-IR spectroscopy,UV-Vis spectroscopy,ESI-MS,elementary analysis,molar conductivity measurements and electrochemical studies,respectively.
