Research on Psychological Skill Promotion Mechanism of University Male Basketball Player in High-intensity Competition —Taking Male Basketball Players in Northeast Normal University as Examples

Abstract

Taking 22 male basketball players of Northeast Normal University as investigation objects, adopting methods of literature consultation, questionnaire investigation and mathematical statistics, this thesis investigates and analyses sports psychological skill of 22 players before and after competition via Psychological Skill Inventory for Sports(PSIS), so as to research on promotion mechanism. Result shows that high-intensity competition plays obvious role in improving psychological skill of university basketball player. Especially in self-anxiety control, concentration and self-confidence, post competition is better than before competition, well trained is better than less trained, starting line-up is better than substitute. This study aims to explore influence of high-intensity competition to promotion of psychological skill of university male basketball player, search for effective way to improve so as to better promote psychological skill in future training and competition.
