Abstract

Current probe is the pivotal part of the current testing apparatus for sucker rod. It can inspect micro cracks on the sucker rod surface quickly and exactly. The design theory of the special probe for sucker rods testing, applied frequency and its development are described in this paper. Test result showed that the probe could meet the needs of sucker rods testing.
