Abstract
It is of significance to study the effect of land use change on ecosystem service values. This paper analyzed changes in land use and ecosystem service values using the theory of ecosystem service. The results showed that the total ecosystem service values of Chongzuo City came through a process of dropping first and then ascending from 1996-2004. The main driving factors of ecosystem service values change were competition in farm land. The ratio between Ecosystem service values and GDP was dropping from 1996 to 2004, economic development was paid much attention but ecosystem environment was despised, go with the development of economic, the ecosystem service values were sacrificed.
