Abstract
The present study explored the effect of leader and follower emotional intelligence on Leader-Member Exchange(LMX)and followers' job outcomes through 280 questionnaire surveys of banks in Zhejiang and Inner Mongolia province.The multilevel analysis was used and the results showed that:1)followers' emotional intelligence was positively correlated with LMX,followers' job performance,emotional commitment and organizational citizenship behavior(OCB);2)leaders' emotional intelligence moderates the relationship between followers' emotional intelligence and LMX;3)LMX partially mediates the relationship between followers' emotional intelligence and followers' emotional commitment and OCB.
