On the Civic Education in Higher Vocational College: Problems and Suggestions

As an educational institution for training high-skilled talents,the higher vocational college shoulders the important task of training qualified citizens for the state and the society.Confronted with the lack of civic knowledge and civic awareness of the students,the higher vocational college should change the education concept in the civic education process and pay attention to the organic combination of ideological and political education and civic education.What's more,the higher vocational college should put the civic education under the background of the civil activities in and outside the campus and try to construct a trinity citizenship education system with the classroom education,cultural education and practical education.
