Effects of Doped Different Ions Content on Luminescent Properties of Ba_(1-x)MoO_4:xPr~(3+) Phosphors

Abstract

The Ba0.99MoO4: 0.01Pr3 +phosphors were prepared with high temperature solid-state method.The as-synthesized phosphors were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction( XRD),photoluminescence excitation( PLE),photoluminescence( PL) spectra and the CIE chromaticity coordinates.The XRD results indicated that a small quantity V,W,Ti and Co do not affect the crystal structure of the phosphor.The PL spectra showed that the appropriate amount of V,W,Ti enhanced the emission intensity of the phosphors,the Co reduced the emission intensity of the phosphors.The optimal V doped concentration is 0.08.The CIE chromaticity coordinates of the Ba0.99Mo1- y O4: 0.01Pr3 +,yV phosphors with different V concentration phosphors are simulated and still located in the red region,when V concentration is 0.08,the effect of the red color is the best.
