Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of laser photocoagulation in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. Methods 90 cases(180 eyes) in diabetic retinopathy, laser photocoagulation through the line of treatment, regular observation of visual acuity, and fundus fluorescein angiography(3 month),records of new blood vessels, vitreous hemorrhage, etc. The observation period 1 year. Results After the completion of laser treatment 1 month, visual acuity was improved≥2 lines 72(40%),no change in 73(40.6%),decreased visualacuity≤2 rows 35(19.4%).Angiography showed neovascularization subsided 175(97.2%),5(2.8%) developed vitreous hemorrhage.Across vitrectomy laser photocoagulation were added. Conclusion Laser photocoagulation to treatdiabetic retinopathy is an effective manner.
