Abstract
The objective of this study was to identify RAPD(Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) markers for downy mildew resistance in non-heading Chinese cabbage.RAPD-PCR(Polymerase Chain Reaction) analysis was conducted using BSA(Bulked Segregant Analysis) of a segregating F2 population which has 144 individuals from a cross between 010(susceptible) and 014(resistant).After performing RAPD-PCR analysis with 560 arbitrary 10-mer primers and agarose-gel electrophoresis,only one RAPD marker AY121238 was identified to be linked to the resistant gene and was determined to be 6.7 cM from the resistant gene.
