Abstract
The ant colony algorithm is a novel category of bionic meta-heuristic system, and parallel computation and positive feedback mechanism are adopted in this algorithm. This algorithm is easy to combine with other methods in optimization, and has wide application in various fi elds. Based on the introduction of the mathematical model of basic ant colony algorithm, introduce the research of the ant colony algorithm, and list some applications of the ant colony algorithm. Finally, the analyses and prospects of research on the ant colony algorithm are proposed.
