Abstract
A UNIX operating system built on the top of MACH microkernel consists of a transparent library and some servers. The performance of these servers iscritical for the whole system's success. The authors built a file system server withmultithreading technology. This paper introduces some methods adopted to solvethe problems encountered in using multithreading technology.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
