Abstract

In the present paper, two new species of Tetrigidae are described. Type specimens are kept in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University. 1. Teredorus fujianensis, sp. nov. (Figs.1~3) This new species is allied to Teredorus albimarginus Zheng et Zhou, but differs in: 1) in profile, vertex not protruding before the eyes; 2) frontal ridge arc protruding between the base of antennae; 3) antenna inserted below the lower margin of eye; 4) total length of pronotum longer than the length ofpronotum which exceed the top of hind femur about 3.0~3.3 times (♂) or 5 times (♀); 5) length of elytra larger than its width about 1.87 times; 6) the width of middle femur as wide as the width of elytra. Length of body: ♂7.0 mm~7.5 mm, ♀9.5 mm. Length of pronotum:♂10.5 mm~11.0 mm, ♀ 10 mm. Length of hind femur: ♂ 5 mm~6 mm, ♀ 6.5 mm. Holotype ♂, paratypes 5♂♂, 1♀, Fujian: Minhou, 20 Ⅶ 1999, collected by Li Kai. 2. Coptotettix minhouensis, sp. nov. (Figs.4~6) This new species is allied to Coptotettix huanjiangensis Zheng et Jiang and Coptotettix annandalei Hancock. It differs from the both in: 1) width of vertex as wide as the width of an eye; 2) posterior angles of the lateral lobes of the pronotum round. It differs from the former in: 1) median carina of pronotum distinct in the whole length; 2) hind process reaching the top of hind femur. It differs from the latter by the hind wing not reaching the top of hind process. Length of body: ♀ 10 mm. Length of pronotum: ♀ 9.5 mm, Length of hind femur: ♀ 6 mm. Holotype ♀, paratype 1♀, Fujian: Minhou, 20 Ⅶ 1999, collected by Li Kai.
