Research of Regime Transition Sequence Pattern: From the Angle of South Korea

As a component part of the whole political development course,the democratization usually includes three inevitable stages: the collapse of authoritarian regime,the establishment of democratic regime and its solidification. Based on the theory of regime transition,this article analyses the development logic of South Korea's democratization. When the solidifying of democratic regime has transformed from passive to active establishment of democracy,it demands not only the improvement of constitutionalism structure,but also the establishment of the political culture supporting the new democratic regime.
